According to the Mayor of Institutional Relations and provincial deputy, Juan de Dios Navarro, the jury in charge of selecting the preliminary project for the Elche Congress Palace has held its first meeting, and now interested firms have until July 23 to submit their proposals. It is expected that by the end of the year, the jury’s evaluation will be known, and then the drafting and direction of the works project will begin for the winner of the first prize.
The estimated deadline for drafting the basic execution project and the Health and Safety Study will be six months, while the construction works could last around 30 months.

The budget allocated to the property will be 23.4 million euros, and a three-story parking lot will also be built, with 14,000 square meters for 420 spaces representing an investment of 10.5 million euros.
