The General Directorate of Commerce and the Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Commerce, and Tourism have approved the proposal of the Commercial Development Council of Elche for the modification of various Sundays and public holidays for commercial practice in the year 2025.
In this regard, the Commerce Department proposed the following as open holidays: April 21 and 28, the first and second Easter Mondays; July 6, the first Sunday of the summer sales; November 1, All Saints’ Day; December 6 and 8, Constitution Day and Immaculate Conception Day; as well as November 30 and December 14, 21, and 28, Sundays during the Christmas campaign.
After submitting the request to the Ministry, it has been approved, so the calendar of holidays enabled for commercial practice in the municipal area of Elche during 2025 is as follows:
– Sunday, January 5: Three Kings Campaign.
– Monday, April 21: Easter Monday.
– Monday, April 28: Second Easter Monday.
– Sunday, July 6: Summer Sales.
– Saturday, November 1: All Saints’ Day.
– Sunday, November 30: Christmas Campaign.
– Saturday, December 6: Constitution Day and Christmas Campaign.
– Monday, December 8: Immaculate Conception Day and Christmas Campaign.
– Sunday, December 14: Christmas Campaign.
– Sunday, December 21: Christmas Campaign.
– Sunday, December 28: Three Kings Campaign.
