El Festival de Cine de Elche rinde homenaje a Jaime Chávarri

A Law graduate, Jaime Chávarri’s passion has always been cinema, where he has developed his career with a unique sensitivity. Linked from the beginning to the core of Spanish cinema, he has collaborated with Iván Zulueta,

Víctor Erice, Carlos Saura, Pedro Almodóvar, or Elías Querejeta. An essential figure in cinema since the 70s, he is known for his auteur cinema and titles that have achieved great success with the audience. He has always stood out for his adaptability and talent as a visual storyteller with key works such as El desencanto, Los viajes escolares, or Besos para todos. In recent years, he has poured his passion into teaching and has become a reference for new generations.

As part of this recognition, Cines Odeón will host the screening of the film Besos para todos this evening at 7:00 PM, with the director in attendance. Following the movie, a discussion will take place with the audience.
