The Elche City Council, through the Department of Municipal Strategy, has initiated the process for the disposal of municipal land and parking spaces.
The councilor for the area, Francisco Soler, has indicated that the auction will include two plots of land. The first one is located in Distribution Area No. 90, covering 570 square meters, and the second one is in the Carrús Industrial Estate with an area of 961 square meters.
In addition to these two plots, Soler has mentioned that two development rights reservations will also be auctioned off. One of them is 5,154 square meters, situated in sector E37, and the prospective buyer must acquire it in its entirety. The second one corresponds to Distribution Area No. 32, covering 1,644 square meters, and can be purchased in fractions.
The auction will also feature around twenty parking spaces spread throughout the municipal area. Specifically, nine on José Grau Niñoles Street, six on Balandro Street, two on Mutxol Street in Las Bayas, one at the corner of Elche Football Club Avenue and Antonio Cartagena Street, and two at Paseo de Atzavares 34.
According to Soler, «We expect to generate revenues of 1.5 million euros from the sale of these plots and 60,700 euros from the parking spaces. This amount exceeds our initial estimates outlined in the Financial Plan we presented a few weeks ago.»
